I picked up some pretty awesome goodies this Month. I love a great deal but I especially love to find things I know I will make great use of. Check out my Collective haul including products from Forever 21, Walmart, Claires, Zoya and Too Faced.
Don't you just love it when you find a video on your computer that you filmed and you forgot about? Yup... that's me and it happens often. I debated uploading this video, but I did it anyway. Check out my February Collective Haul... which includes Drug Store, Shop Lately, Hautelook and Ebay purchases.

I did a little shopping over the last couple of weeks and finally had the chance to film a video the other day. While everything that I have pictured here is mainly from Sephora, I did pick up some Drug Store items as well.
I will be doing impression videos or posts on the items as I use them more, so stay tuned for those coming soon.
Have you gotten any of these goodies and if so, which did you get and what do you like or dislike about them? :)
This Haul was done before my roll out of my Make out 2013. I also have another small haul as well which all items were purchased prior to my roll out. :)
Check out the Video Haul here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyw1ivor2Wk&feature=youtu.be
Watch the Video to see what I got for Christmas and a few giveaway and contest prizes I received on Christmas Eve and a little before. While I did get a lot of small items like Candies and Treats, I focused on the larger items I received this year.
Giveaway / Contest items:
It's a small Haul but I was super stoked to find this at my local Walgreens when I went the other day. I wanted to get all 3 of them... but the colors were just not of those that I couldn't find dupes of so I decided against it.
The kit itself is pretty cool, it comes with a Quad which sports some pretty cool colors, a Liquid eyeliner (which I have been a big fan of for a while now), a pencil glitter liner, Mascara and an eyeshadow brush and brow/lashes brush to comb out the lashes. The brushes are not that great... obviously - they are the ones that are cheaply made, but in a pinch - I'm sure they will do. I wish I had this for my $20 Makeup Up Challenge. :) I love that they have the "Get the Look" instructions on the inside of the box. This is a perfect kit for a beginner or any makeup enthusiast alike.
The kit costs $7.99 at my local Walgreens. I'm pretty sure this is the kit I read about that is only available in Walgreens and is a special edition. I am tempted to pick up the other two just because they are super cool, limited edition and even if the extras are not the biggest wow factors... these little quad palettes are super cool and perfect to throw in the purse or travel makeup bag.
As you can see from the picture above... it is available in 3 different selections. Ferga-vicious is a beautiful smokey eye kit that sports gorgeous dark shades that are ideal for the perfect smokey eye. The 3rd kit is called Fergie Ferg Fresh and it sports bright and bold shades of purples, blue and black. You could definitely create a smokey eye with a pop of color or a gorgeous bright and bold look. Again, I think with all that's included, this will be a great addition to any Makeup Lover.
*This is not a formal review. A review will be made after the product has been tested. This product was purchased with my own money.
Beauty blenders are all the craze now a days. Many companies have come out with their own versions... in fact... you can find some at your local drug store from some brands that have evolved. My first thought of these was... "um, oh hell no" because the original beauty blender costs quite a bit. In my opinion... I would rather buy a full sized MAC brush and build my brush kit even further instead of using a Sponge. After waiting and waiting before jumping on the bandwagon... I decided I would take a look and see the different ones they had available.
I found these 2 beauties on ebay at under $5.00 total. I was pretty stoked and figured I would buy 2 different shapes to test each one. This is not a review... just a little haul and my first impression, so to say. :)
As you can see in the photos above... They do increase after you wash/wet them as do the original beauty blender. I have not used them yet... but am planning to do so and will definitely do a formal review. But so far... they are soft, they feel like they would be easy to blend in my foundation and they are so inexpensive that I could stock up on several of these for my kit and personal use. I will see how fast they wear down and if they are truly going to last up to high volume or if they can only be used for a little while before shredding or deteriorating like a normal white cosmetic sponge. I'll be sure to reveal my results here on my blog or in a video when I have come to any conclusions.
If you have tried the beauty blender or any of the generic or cheaper versions of them, I want to know how you liked it. Leave it in the comments below and tell me your thoughts.
This swap includes a combination of goodies from the Drug Store and from Hautelook.com. I totally scored when I went my local CVS the other day - found some goodies for under a dollar for some and less than $1.50 for others. And then, Hautelook had Urban Decay on discount last week - so I jumped on the opportunity to pick up the Book of Shadows IV at a discounted rate. My lil sister also bought me 2 rings that are super duper cute. ;)Check out my video for the haul in detail and if you want reviews on any of the items I bought for myself - please let me know. ;)
